About Little Detroit Papercuts
My name is Christine Brage, I am 37 years old and I live in Ringsted with my husband and two girls aged 6 and 10. I am a self-taught artist, but have been making art since I was very small. I have gone through many different art forms to find the one that captured me the most. It was the work with the paper that won.
Two years ago I started making papercuts, and was very quickly taken by the process.
I love the free process involved in working with paper, and experiment daily with new patterns, shapes and color combinations. I am happy to accept orders where you can help to 'design' your own papercut based on the colors, patterns and sizes you want (however, I must point out that I will never be able to make one exactly like the one you want, but only one that looks like)
When you choose to buy a papercut at Little Detroit, it's not just a piece of art. It is a unique and hand-carved piece of handicraft. All papercuts are made from free imagination and thus there will never be two alike.
On the back of your papercut you will find a unique number in the lower right corner, as well as a signature and date, so you can always see that you have received a unique piece of art.
Thank you for appreciating the craftsmanship.
